Weakly projective modules in σ[M] are defined dually. For locally q.f.d. module M, there exists a module K ∈σ[M] such that ⊕ N is weakly injective in σ[M], for any N∈σ[M]. Similarly, if M is projective and perfect in σ[M], then there exists a module K∈σ[M] such that K ⊕ N is weakly projective in σ[M], for any N ∈σ[M]. Several characterizations of semisimple modules are obtained using weak injectivity and weak projectivity in σ[M].

Two new fine topologies in the plane named the α-sun topology with α∈ (1, 2) and L-sun toplogy respectively are introduced, and it is proved that (1) the α-sun topology is strictly finer than the α-fine topology from Riesz potential theory; (2) the α-sun topology is strictly finer than the α'-sun topology for any α,α'∈ (1, 2) satisfying that α <60> α. (3) the L-sun topology is strictly finer than the 2-fine topology and strictly coarser than the α-sun topology. And so the following strictly conclusion relation formulas are valid: (i) The sun topology ⊃ the α-sun topolygy ⊃ the α'-sun topology ⊃ the α'-fine topology ⊃ the 2-fine topology α the Euclidean topology, and (ii) The α-sun topology ⊃ the L-sun topology ⊃ the 2-fine topology. Some separation properties of the α-sun topology and the L-sun topology are also studied.

The join of G₁ and G₂ is the graph G = G₁ + G₂ with the vertex-set V(G) = V(G₁)∪V(G₂) and the edge-set E(G) = E(G₁)∪E(G₂)∪{uv|u ∈ V(G₁) and v ∈ V(G₂)}. If p₁ and p₂ be orders of G₁ and G₂, respectively then one obtains a(G₁ + G₂) = min(a(G₁) + p₂, a(G₂) + p₁), where a(G₁) and a (G₂) are the algebric connectivities of G₁ and G₂, respectively. Moreover the algebric connectivity of a complete n-partite graph has been given.

Besides the above, another proof of the Laurent Polynomial analogue of the Nori's homotopy cojecture has been given.

A sufficient condition has been given such that ε-inverse compactness is hereditary to closed subspace. By this result, it has been proved that R-inverse compactness (resp. O-inverse compactness, normal Z-inverse compactness) is regular closed hereditary (resp. clopen hereditary, zero-set hereditary). Two examples have been geven to show that the three ε-inverse compactnesses all are not closed hereditary, and for a general class ε of open covers of a space X, ε-inverse compactness need not be hereditary to complement X-U of an open subset U, where U is in some open cover U <174> ε.
