The results obtained are discussed for Grashof number (G _r <62> 0) corresponding to the cooling of the plate and (G _rb <60> 0) corresponding to the heating of the plate with the help of graphs and tables to observe the effects of various parameters.

Software reliability growth models developed in the literature can be classified into two groups. The first contains models which use the execution or calendar time as a unit of fault detection period. Such models are called continuous time models. The second group known as discrete time models use the test occasions (cases) as a unit of fault detection period. These models are used of predict error content of the software during the testing phase of the software development cycle. If the software is modular it becomes equally important to allocate the limited tested testing resource to different modules in order to maximise the error detection process. A simple procedure to optimally allocate testing resource has been provieded. In order to do that the testing effort function has been defined in term of the error detection which is considered to be discrete. Parameters of the effort function are estimated and results are provided, considering a software consisting of five modules.

Bilateral generating functions have been derived with the help of Rodrigues formula. The results of the investigation can be written in the form of a theorem.

The spatial spread of rabies or any rapidly spreading disease is a complex process in population dynamics. An epidemic model with logisticaly growing population in homogeneous environment has been considered and it has been assumed that infective population are migrating from one place to other place. The mathematical model is a system of partial differential equations and the model equations in a single homogeneous environment are solved by using traveling ware solution.
