Similarly Nanda and Biswas proposed the notion of fuzzy ring and fuzzy field. To investigate and analyze the notions of fuzzy subgroups, fuzzy normal subgroups, fuzzy ring and fuzzy field in the main aim. The redefine version of these algebraic structures have also been proposed and have shown that every fuzzy algebraic structures in the sense of Rosenfeld, Nanda and Biswas is also a fuzzy algebraic structure.

019023   Hooda B K (Mathematics and Statistics, CCS Haryana Agricultural Univ, Hisar-125 004) : Probability analysis of monthly rainfall for agricultural planning at Hisar. Indian J Soil Conserv 2006, 34(1), 12-4.

Probability distribution of drought, normal and abnormal events for monthly rainfall at Hisar (Haryana) was worked out. It was found that July is the wettest month with average rainfall of 129.1 mm followed by August with 118.2 mm. Out of 552 months in 46 years period, drought, normal and abnormal months were 46.9%, 40.2% and 12.9%, respectively. The 46 annual rainfall events have also been analyzed and categorized as drought, normal and abnormal. The analysis showed that average annual rainall at Hisar was 453 mm with a standard deviation of 170.5 mm. It was further observed that 19.5% of the 46 years were drought, implying a likelihood of one drought in every five years period. Rank correlation based test indicated the increasing trend of rainfall in June. Correlation between monthly rainfall for monsoon season (July to September) and annual rainfall events was found to be highly significant.

Unguided bomb defines a unique ballistic trajectory for specific release conditions from a fixed point in the space to a defined target. For a Laser Guided Bomb, the point of drop lies in an envelope that provides enough reaction time for the pilot to act. The release envelope gives a minimum and a maximum point from which the guided bomb can be dropped for damaging the defined target. These minimum/maximum release points depend on the guidance and control system components like sensor instantaneous field of view (IFOV), in which sensor can sense the target so that guidance can be applied effectively and bomb maneuverability, which depends on the limitations of the control surfaces of the bomb. The problem can be attempted with the ballistic equations using numerical techniques. It requires large amount of design data. From the firing data one can get the release envelope with linear/nonlinear regression but the error is very large. A neural model helps to increase this accuracy in most of the release conditions. In this work, a neuro-fuzzy model has been developed to obtain the minimum/maximum range for given altitude, dive angle and velocity of the aircraft. The optimum parameters of a fuzzy inference shystem are extracted from the firing data using neural network. This neuro-fuzzy model not only improes the accuracy but improves over the outliers also. The resuluts from numerical, neural model and neuro-fuzzy model are obtained and compared. It is observed that the estimates obtained using neuro-fuzzy model are in very close agreement with the experimental values.

In reliability theory, the threshold level or withstanding capacity of a system can be considered to be any one of the constant level, cumulative shock random threshold level, maximum shock random threshold etc. The cumulative shock random threshold level is considered wherein a system undergoes a shock and encounters random amount of damage but the system survives with the damages. Successive shocks at random epochs lead to the cumulative damages and as and when the cumulative damages crosses the threshold level of the system, the system fails. Assuming the threshold level undergoes a change in the form of distribution after the change point where the change point is taken to be an exponential random variable, the distribution function for the threshold level is obtained by taking exponential distribution and Erlang 2 distribution as the threshold levels before and after the change point respectively. Using this distribution function for the threshold level, the expected time to the breakdown of the system and its variance are obtained by using the shock model and cumulative damage process approach.

A queue model is considered which simulate an abstract model of a clinic. Various performance measures of queueing are studied taking a single server model cited in Deo ( 1979). This model is redesigned to carry out performance measures for n-servers. On the basis of this model, analytical results are compared with simulated results for various performance measures .

Some existence results on common fixed theorem for best approximaªtion involving six mappings are proved for general type of starshapedness condition of domain and without linearity condition of mappings in the setup of q-normed space. Generalizes the recent results of Singh and Chandel¹¹. Some known results Beg, Shahzad and Iqbal are also generalized and improved. A property known as Property(f) is defined to restore the linearity nature of mapping.

Nature of singularity for exponential mass function in Vaidya solution of imploding radiation has been examined. Further, it is shown that, in case of Vaidya de-Sitter space-time nature of singularity does not changes. It was observe that in both the cases, strong curvature naked singularity is the outcome.
