The model considers not only the overall customers' satisfaction, but also the manufacturer's satisfaction with the costs committed to the product. With the interactive approach, the best balance between manufacturer's satisfaction and overall customers' satisfaction can be obtained.

The use of simplified fuzzy reasoning method to determine the crisp functional relationship between the objective function and the decision variables has been suggested and the resulting (usually nonlinear) programming problem has been solved to find a fair optimal solution to the original fuzzy problem.

Finite difference method is used to obtain the solution of non-linear boundary value problem arising due to the steady motion of an incompressible second-order fluid (flowing with a small mass rate of symmetrical radial outflow) between two finite rotating discs enclosed within a coaxial cylindrical casing when there is a uniform suction at one disc and equal injection at the other. The resulting equations are converted into a set of difference equations. Starting from the known values of flow functions for small values of the Reynold number, the solution is extended for larger Reynolds number, by making use of Newton-Raphson iterative method and Gauss-elimination method. The second order effect and those due to suction and injection on the velocity components have been investigated in the regions of recirculation and for the cases of radial outflow and inflow and illustrated graphically. Such flows are useful in Chemical and Mechanical Industries.

This fraction is an exponential function of the waiting time of the customers. The model is extended to the case of non-perishable product also. Lastly, it is illustrated with the help of numerical examples.

A ring R is said to be right MP-injective if every monomorphism from a principal right ideal to R extends to an endomorphism of R. A ring R is said to be right MGP-injective if, for any 0 ≠ α ∈ R, there exists a positive integer _n such that a_n≠ 0 and every monomorphism from a_nR to R extends to R. Studied characterizations and properties of these two classes of rings. Some interesting results on these rings are obtained. In particular, conditions under which right MGP-injective rings are semisimple artinian rings, von Neumann regular rings, and QF-rings are given.

Max-Cut is a famous NP-hard problem in combinatorial optimization. In this article, we propose a Lagrangian smoothing algorithm for Max-Cut, where the continuation subproblems are solved by the truncated Prank-Wolfe algorithm. We establish practical stopping criteria and prove that our algorithm finitely terminates at a KKT point, the distance between which and the neighbour optimal solution is also estimated. Additionally, we obtain a new sufficient optimality condition for Max-Cut. Numerical results indicate that our approach outperforms the existing smoothing algorithm in less time.

In this paper we define a symbol a(x, y) by using inverse Hankel type transform. The pseudo differential type operator G(x, D) associated with the Bessel type operator Δ_α,β. in terms of this symbol is also defined and it is shown that the pseudo differential type operator is bounded in a certain Sobolev type space associated with the Hankel type transform. Finally some properties of symbols are discussed.

The article, authors introduce the concepts of gΘα-closed sets and gΘα-open sets in topological spaces. We obtain relations between gΘα-closed (open) sets with various closed (open) sets. A pictorial representation is obtained depicting those relations. Some important characterizations are obtained for a subset to be gΘα-closed (open). Applications of gΘα-closed sets are derived and studied.
